Math Workshop at Queen's Nov. 2006 Teacher-candidates in Geoff Roulet's math education class at Queen's Faculty of Education have just completed a workshop on Statistics Canada resources given by J. Yan with input from Susan Starkings of the U.K.
Students worked through math activities using E-STAT for modeling functions. They also downloaded data from the international Census at School database and analyzed it.
