Census at School Workshop

Math mentors entered their data
into the survey and then analyzed
their group data and compared it
with the Canadian average and
with international data.

Thanks to Cathy Martin for
helping the math mentors anlayze
our data using Excel.

New Brunswick Grade 9 E-STAT Unit

Joel Yan leads a workshop for
math mentors and high school math
teachers on the Grade 9 Data
Management Unit Using E-STAT.
This unit is now on the NB
education portal under
Mathematics, grade 9.
Thanks to Prof. Dave Wagner from
UNB, shown in the foreground,
and Lisa McCloskey who prepared E-
STAT graphs for the unit using NB
data. A Nova Scotia version is
also available on the NS Ministry
of Education site at
