End of the Year Field Trips

The year is winding down but we still have a couple of fun trips planned.

Wednesday, May 30 we are scheduled to go to the Oregon Food Bank to sort food. We will leave the 
school at 9:15 and return at 11:30.  I need 6 volunteers who can drive and stay to supervise.

Thursday, June 7 students attending Beaumont will be walking with me to Grant park to meet and play 
games with Rigler 5th grade students.  No permission or assistance is necessary.  Students not 
attending Beaumont next year will stay at school and help with field day.

Tuesday, June 12 we will walk to Hollywood Bowl to meet our pen pals, after bowling 2 games we will 
walk back to my house for a gourmet lunch of hot dogs, veggies, chips and fruit.  No parent help is 
needed.  Cost is $6, which includes shoe rental and 2 games. Lunch is on me.

Please sign the attached permission form and fill out the release form for the Food Bank.  I would 
appreciate the money for bowling by June 6 so I can have the school write a check to the bowling alley.  
Check should be made out to Alameda.

Please let me know if you are able to drive and stay at the food bank.
