Forecasting packets will soon be coming home with your student. Next year your child will have two teachers. S/he will have reading, language arts and social studies with Mr. Streckert for ½ of the day and for the second half of the day s/he will have math, science and health with Mr. Gibson. Once the students’ forecasting sheets are returned, we will be formulating class lists for next year to determine the a.m. and p.m. class sections. Their assignment to the a.m. or p.m. block will depend on their elective selection, e.g., if your student elects to take Spanish s/he will be assigned to a p.m. block because Spanish will be offered in the morning only. Using the information from the forecasting sheet we work exceedingly hard at balancing the aforementioned factors. By the time we have finished we feel very strongly we have come up with section compositions, which will make for a successful year. Unless we have overlooked something in their section assignment that we feel merits a change, all section assignments are final.
