Church Homeschool Support Group

Welcome to our Site!

It is always in process, and there will be regular updates, especially in
the calendar sections, as we are able.

Please feel free to look through our website as there is information useful
to all homeschoolers, new and old, whether they attend our church or not.

For those visiting or attending our church and who are interested in the
homeschooling resources it offers (whether you are currently actively
homeschooling or seeking more information about homeschooling), please go to
the FAQ page for a detailed overview of our Homeschool Support Group's
resources and requirements.

Our website here holds many helps for those who desire to become involved in
our CMBC Homeschool Support Group's activities including: the Meetings and
Events calendar; the Announcements corner for important support group
reminders; the PE Schedule; the PE Newsflash for PE Co-Op member
announcements; the PE Docs page which holds important PE forms; and finally
the "Request for E-List" should you like to join our Support Group's Yahoo
Groups e-List.

Further there are informational pages for most of our Homeschool Support
Group's events or activities (which vary from time to time as coordinators
are available) such as: the science fair, art fair, presentation night,
yearbook, and homeschool band. When an activity is occurring through our
Homeschool Support Group, its page icon will be displayed on the home page
and will include information and downloadable applications or supporting
documents.

The "Extracurricular Small Groups" page is to help those who would like to
form their own small cooperative learning clubs or activity groups within
our homeschool community as the activities conducted through our church's
Homeschool Support Group focus more on encouragement for homeschool parents
and larger group activities and socialization.

Of general homeschooling interest, there are some great literature approach
and book/publisher sites in "Good Books," and classical approach sites in "A
Classical Approach."

Also, click on the CHOC Board link for area homeschool information. You
will find a community calendar of local events of interest to homeschooling
families; directories of local homeschool activities and programs offered,
directories of local homeschool stores and resources; and dowloadable
information and help articles regarding Getting Started/Homeschool 101
and Homeschool High School and College helps. Message forums are also
available on the CHOC Board to interact with other Christian homeschoolers
in our Washington County/Portland metro area.

If you have any questions or comments, please click on "Contact Us" above or
at the waving mailbox on our home page.

We hope this is a blessing to you all, and we look forward to getting to
know you as we support one another in Christ and in our homeschooling
endeavors!

Your CMBC Homeschool Support Group Co-leaders,

care. Please be aware that site links can change without notice, and because
of the nature of the Internet, our leadership makes no guarantees as to what
you will actually get. If you ever come upon a dead link or were linked to
something other than what was anticipated or is--gasp--inappropriate!,
please notify us through email above so we can remove that link.)
