HOMEWORK HEROES

Homework Heroes is a special recognition awarded to those sixth grade students in Mrs. Mitchell's room who consistently turn in their homework. Each quarter, students have the opportunity to earn a "special" reward for being a Homework Hero.

  Accelerated Reading 85% Club

      In fifth and sixth grade, the goal is to earn 25 points per quarter in the Accelerated Reading program. In addition, each student works to maintain an average 85% or above on the reading practice quizzes taken for each book read. These quizzes tell the student whether or not he/she has read and understood a book. All students meeting this goal become a member of the class 85% Club.
