Site Council Meeting Minutes
February 18, 2009
Christina Broncheau called the meeting to order at 3:15 p.m.
Members present: Jon Walker, Marti Hofenbredl, Christina Broncheau,
Jayne Roe, Belinda Ogle, Maria Olsen, and Judy Breeden.
Members absent: Joe Sandoval, Kari Mode and Heather Dawson
Marti showed us her power point presentation on FCS goals for 2008-2010 that
she will be giving to the school board tonight.
4-5 PLC, Mitch Chadwick, working on improving state math scores and focusing
on ELL and Special Ed. They are trying to put together a common vocabulary
list used in math. They also use the Accelerated Math program so kids can go
at their own pace. The team is also mapping out the new math curriculum to the
math standards.
SIP-reviewed and received a copy to review and give feedback to Marti
by Friday.
Parent involvement policy-Marti will bring a copy to the next meeting.
AYP-Jon went over the first round of reading scores with 69% mets. Mow
Marti will go in to the database and look up the sub groups and get them the
help they need to meet.

Christina Broncheau called the meeting to order at 3:15 pm.
Members present: Jon Walker, Marti Hofenbredl, Christina Broncheau,
Heather Dawson, Maria Olsen, and Judy Breeden. AJ Grauer, Superintendent, was
our guest.
Members absent: Joe Sandoval, Kari Mode, Belinda Ogle and Jayne Roe.
AJ shared some thoughts about forming and education foundation in Sheridan. It
would focus on libraries and arts, and we would be able to call on businesses
and alumni for financial help.
Marti and AJ are working on the 21st Century Grant that is due April 17th.
Discussed what to put in for; healthy kids, math, reading, character
education, power hour, are some examples. If selected we could receive up to
$500,000.
SIP- done and turned in but haven’t heard the results as of yet. Board
presentation- went well, Marti also reviewed it with staff.
AYP- results of now are reading 64% and math 39%. Meeting adjourned at
4:15.
Next meeting April 8. Rescheduled for April 15.

April 15, 2009
Christina Broncheau called the meeting to order at 3:15 pm.
Members present: Jon Walker, Marti Hofenbredl, Christina Broncheau,
Kari Mode and Judy Breeden. Adam Delatte was our guest.
Members absent: Joe Sandoval, Maria Olsen, Heather Dawson, Belinda Ogle
and Jayne Roe.
Mr. Delatte presented goals for the 6-8 PLC. Their primary goal is for 60% to
meet in OAKS math testing, and the secondary goal is for 80% of students to
feel safe and respected and FCS.
Parent Involvement Policy- went through policy and discussed as we went
along.
Elections- tabled till next month.
SIP Grant- Marti received word that we will receive $108,000 and an
additional $140,000 in G funds and in Title 1 stimulus funds another $98,000.
She met with all PLC leaders to categorize the school’s needs. · Testing
