About The Teacher
I love teaching at Jefferson! This is my 13th year of teaching. All of my teaching experience has been in the intermediate grades -- 4th through 6th. I have high expectations of my students and find that 6th grade students are very curious and inquisitive about the world around them. I double-duty as the assistant principal here at Jefferson and would like to someday be a building administrator. I got my undergraduate degree at the University of Oregon (Journalism) and my Masters at Eastern Oregon University. I received my administrative license from PSU in 2002 but have found that I am not yet ready to leave the classroom.

To prepare the students for the transition to middle school. To learn to be responsible and accountable students who are respectful and willing to solve the problems they face in everyday life.
