About The Teacher

My assignment this year consists of 2 sections of 7th grade science and 
3 sections of 8th grade science: 

My nuclear family consists of my wife Anita who is a Physical Therapist, 
and a devoted practitioner of Tai-Chi . She also enjoys weaving and 
beading projects. Her focus the past 5 to 6 years has been on 
watercolor painting. We continue to hang lovely memories on our walls.

Then there is Phantom, a cat who adopted us several years ago. His 
main goal in life is to make sure we get up as the sun rises, and check 
his food bowl. It always has plenty of food in it but he is never happy until 
we add more.

My life away from school(s) involves caring for my bonsai collection that I 
started in 1986. I'm currently in the process of scaling back the number 
of trees in anticipation of retirement and living in New Mexico for whole 
seasons it a time.

Mission For The Class

To make the classroom a brain friendly environment. 

To help each student meet or exceed state standards for a science work 
sample.

To provide a safe, respectful, learning environment where individuals 
are encouraged and empowered to fultill their potential as engaged and 
responsible participants in a culturally-diverse and ever-changing world.
