Class Exit Guidelines

For your success in math there are times when it is important that you are in class listening to instruction, directions, and participating.  I understand that there are times when leaving the classroom is necessary.

My expectations around exiting the classroom are as follows:

1.  All students are expected in their seat ready to go when the bell rings and for the first five minutes of class.

2.  During the homework correction, completion of the graphic organizer and warm ups students may exit as long as it is not during the first five minutes.

3.  Students must sign out on the clip board next to the door with the date, time and their name.

4.  They must take a pass.  There is one pass for female students and one pass for male students. This means one female and one male student can be out of the room at a time.

5.  The maximum length of time for an exit is 4 minutes.

6.  All exits are for this building only.  If you need to go to another building it requires a KMS hall pass.  Make this request directly to me.

7.  During instruction and/or directions all students must be in the classroom.

8.  No exits during the last five minutes of class, so that all last minute business will not be missed.
