The intended purpose, of this webquest, was to create a 5 day computer lab
experience in which students would be able to connect with Sir Isaac Newton
through several higher order thinking skills and activities via several
academic genres. Our unified desire was to afford students a greater
understanding of Sir Isaac Newton, the man, while also enriching their
understanding of the culture that may have influenced his science, as well
as the types of literature he may have personally experienced.
This webquest was designed as a cross-discipline unit. It was created
through the joined efforts of teachers from around the nation. Each teacher
contributed through their own academic field and expertise in the completion
of this project.
