Introduction:

So what in the world did Isaac Newton have to do with Government? This is an 
understandable question. Maybe you should ask what in the world did 
government have to do with Isaac Newton.

With that in mind I am hoping you all will follow this journey to connect 
the intricacies of science and politics from Isaac Newton�s time to our 
current political arenas.

The following websites will be helpful on your journey, but do not be afraid 
to venture of on your own to quench your thirst for knowledge.


Group Tasks: 

            1. Draft a Bill which would recognize Newton�s inventions as 
worth for public acceptance.

            2. What was the significance of the Royal Society which Newton 
was once the President?

Create a yearbook page including the most prominent historical members of 
Newton�s reign as the societies President. Be sure to include pictures, 
names and significant accomplishments.

            3. What Problems did Newton face politically? Compare them to 
present day problems for our modern scientists.
