 Congratulations!!!

Great job to all of the Spartan sports teams. The volleyball team won the 3A state championship this fall with Bethany Dickey being named Qwest Player of the Game. The boys basketball team placed 6th in the state playoffs with Niko Rentsch getting player of the game the first game of playoffs and Greg Butler being named player of the game for games two and three. The girls basketball team placed 3rd in league and in the top 8 of the state. Emma Buchholz was named player of the game for the first game the Lady Sparts played at the state playoffs and Amber Moser was named player of the game for the second game. The girls also received the OSAA Dairy Farmer's of Oregon Academic All-State Award for earning the high team GPA in the state for varsity basketball. Congratulations again to our althetes. We are proud to be the "Home of the Spartans."

 Message from the Principal

Hello, I am Dean Rech, Principal of Sheridan High School. On behalf of the staff and student body, I would like to welcome you to the Sheridan High School Website. Sheridan High School takes pride in its academic and athletic programs. We encourage our students to become involved in extra-curricular and co-curricular activities. It is important for our students to take ownership and make a connection with the staff and the school. Sheridan High School offers a variety of AP courses, CTE classes and NOVA Net (a computer based program.) Students are encouraged to challenge themselves and to do their best. It is important to prepare all students for success. Sheridan High School has met AYP three years in a row! The athletic program at SHS has been strong in team sports, as well as in wrestling and track and field. I am proud to say that we are the Home Of The 2008 3A State Volleyball Champions!! My hope is for each student to have a fun and positive experience this school year. And remember...get involved with school co-curricular and/or extra-curricular activities.
