As a young paleontologist, it is your mission to discover amazing facts
about your dinosaur of choice!
This report will be presented in both oral and poster format. Everything
listed below must be in the report including the answers to all of the
questions.
1) Title, which includes the name of the dinosaur and your name.
2) What does the dinosaurs name mean?
3) When do scientists think that this prehistoric dinosaur lived? Was
it during the Triassic, Jurassic, or Cretaceous Period? Approximately how
many millions of years ago was it roaming Earth?
4) How much did it weigh?
5) How long and how tall was it?
6) What kind of defenses did it use to protect itself?
7) Was it an omnivore, carnivore, or herbivore?
8) Where have the fossils of this dinosaur been found? Please include
a map.
9) Include any other interesting facts that you discover!
10) Draw, color, paint, etc
a picture of the dinosaur. Remember that
nobody really knows exactly what the dinosaurs coverings looked like, but
paleontologists do know their basic shapes from fossils. Please be as
realistic as possible.
