The Internet is a convenient way for parents to keep up to date with
homework assignments. It can also be used when a child is absent, but
it should not replace a student writing down the assignment while in
class. Students should not rely on the Internet to have current
homework assignments every day. There are times when assignments can
not be posted and it is not a valid excuse for not doing homework.
When homework is requested for absent students, only their cubicles are
checked for books. Students are asked not to leave their books or belongings
in any desks. Due to the fact that many students sit in each desk throughout
the day the loss of books or belongings may occur if left in a desk. Please
remind your child to leave their books in their cubicle, so when the time
comes to request homework the books can be easily located and sent home.
