Homework


Philosophy

Excluding reading, homework in first grade should take no longer than 10 minutes. Students work quite hard during the school day and they reinforce skills and concepts when completing homework. Therefore, homework should be simple. Please let me know if your child spends more than 10 minutes on her math assignment, or if she finds the material difficult.

Daily Homework:

15 minutes of reading
