Annunciation BVM 5K Run and Family Fun Walk

On the Family Fun Walk (1.2 miles) you will travel through the streets of Havertown, while the longer 5K run will take you along the scenic Karakung Drive.

 

We will also have special appearances from both the “Jogging Turkey” and Santa Claus.

Proceeds for this event will be used to fund upgrades in technology and other related tools for both the students at Annunciation School and the parish PREP classes.

Race Information

Registration - 8:00 a.m.

Costs:

• Per Person: $20 ($25 after 11/20/2009)
• Family Rate: $55 ($60 after 11/20/2009) - limit 5
• 14 and Under: $15

 

Awards - Runners (female and male) - Overall top three. Top three in age groups: 10 & under; 11-18; 19-29; 30-39, 40-49; 50-59; 60 & over NEW: Team Competition: Top 3 teams based on the average of the top 5 times (male or female).

 

Amenities - T-shirts available for pre-registered runners/walker and the first 100 race day entrants. Bathrooms and water stations are available. Post-race refreshments include light snacks and hot/cold beverages.

 

Timing - Run the Day Race Management provides timing services using a computerized system. Marshals will be strategically located along the course.
