Monday - Friday Homework
*READING: Read for 15 minutes every night.
The Reading Contract is due the end of the month.
*Go to LINKS & VISIT the Harcourt Web site for more reading practice!*
Spelling Test- Spelling Test #1 will be September 12,2008.
(Written Spelling H.W.= ABC order one night = Mon. & Wed. nights.)
*MATH: **A TWO MINUTE FACT SHEET is due every FRIDAY.**
* MEMORIZE all fact cards.**
Cut & memorize addition cards.*
*Daily HW sheet.
Practice your subtraction fact cards 2 times a week.
Remember you need more then 20 facts correct in 2 minutes to receive a
P (progressing) on the report card.
* PLEASE REMEMBER to bring 3 SHARP pencils each day.
( Don't forget to take the dull ones home to sharpen.)
*Refer to your homework Agenda for more information. Be sure to
have your H.W. AGENDA SIGNED DAILY by a parent.*
Bring back your library books every Wednesday.
Remember, third grade is the year you transition from learning to read,
to reading to learn.
