Time is flying! It is already time for Spring Break!
In math we are just finishing up measurement. Towards the end of April we
will be having our Measurement Olympics. Students will be able to have fun
and show all the knowledge that they have gained from the two measurement
units we have went through.
When we come back from Spring Break we will start a new multiplication and
division unit in Math. We will begin working on 2-digit by 2-digit and 2-
digit by 3-digit multiplication. We will also explore long division. Now is
the time where it counts to know your multiplication facts. Practice,
Practice, Practice.
In science we will continue working on our animal research projects. They
all seem to enjoy taking learning into their own hands and discover
interesting facts anout the animals of their choice.
Reading and Math PSSA's are now behind us. Everyone worked hard and did
great. I can't wait to see the results. However, our Science PSSA's are
just around the corner. They are at the end of April.
We only have about 2 months left. We have many things still left to do! I'm
excited to end this year off as well as we started. I truly enjoy having
each and every student in this years class.
