About the Teachers

Miss Olszewski: I am currently in my fifth year of teaching and my fourth
year in fourth grade. I have taught third grade but adore fourth grade! In
my free time I enjoy reading, scrapbooking, photography, and going to the
beach! I received my degree in early childhood and elementary education from
Millersville University and am currently in the process of finishing my
Master's degree in Literacy at West Chester University. I will also be
getting married this October:)

Mrs. Conant: I live in the Avon Grove School District. I am married and
have two sons. Matt will be a junior at the high school and Drew will be
in the middle school this fall.
I have had the pleasure of working with Avon Grove for seven years.
In my earlier days, prior to having my own children, I taught kindergarten,
but my real love is fourth grade. I enjoy this age as students are
inquisitive, yet independent too.

Mrs. Marinelli
I love to teach. I believe that children are truly a gift and need careful
guidance to help them develop into productive, hard-working citizens.
Education is an important part of this process and I appreciate you being
part of my team. I have a wonderful husband and two fabulous young adult
children. We have lived in New London Township for over 20 years. I am a
certified Speech and Language Therapist and certified in Elementary
Education. I have taught grades 2-4 and especially adore 4th graders. I
love traveling, the Rocky Mountains, Nascar racing (Dale Jr. in particular),
spending as much time as I can outdoors and many other hobbies.

Miss Peterson
I am very excited to return to the Blue Pod this year. I believe that we
have an amazing group of 4th grade teachers. I attended Avon Grove as a
student myself and have lived in the district with my family since I was 4.
I will be getting married June 20th and have recently bought a house about
10 minutes from the school. I recieved my degree from West Chester
University in Elementary Education as well as a Math minor. I am about to
begin the process of working on my master's at West Chester as well. I am
very excited to start the year with these great group of students.
