Week of Nov. 9th - Nov. 13th
Reading - This week’s story is titled, “Miss Bindergarten Gets Ready for
Kindergarten”. The vocabulary words are marches, hops, climbs, and jumps.
The letter of the week is Bb. We are still working on the high frequency
words a and the. The comprehension skill is character (the people or animals
in the story).
Math - Students will be working with numbers one, two, three, and four. There
will be a quick check and cumulative review on Tuesday.
Classroom news and events - I hope the students had as much fun during the
Hootenany as I did. They did a GREAT job!
Please return conference slips ASAP so I can finish scheduling everyone’s
times. I will do my best to accommodate all of your schedules.
We have a Thanksgiving Feast scheduled for November 24th. Keep an eye out for
donation sign-ups.
You will also be asked to make a placemat with your child. I will laminate
these, and we will use them during the feast. This placemat is due by
November 17th.
