calendars and lessons.
Annenberg Media uses "media
and telecommunications to advance excellent teaching in American schools."Take
a look at the Teacher Resources. You can search by discipline and or grade
level.
Smithsonian
Education - This site contains lesson plans for Art and Design, Science
and Technology, History and Culture, and Language Arts. You can search for
resources by grade level, subject and by State Standards.
Interactives - for most
subject areas
netTrekker is a
search engine developed by teachers for teachers. It is provided by IU 20
Colonial and it is free. It contains differentiated instruction, readability
level, standards, lesson plans, learning games, pics, maps and more. Teachers
should register. Students also may use it using the district name and

United Streaming is now called Discovery
Education Streaming. It contains high-quality digital video for all
subject areas. With the teacher tools you can create an assignment, make
quizzes, and much more. You will need the school passcode to get an account.
There are many new features available.
The Library of Congress contains
over 10 million digitized historical artifacts, ranging from classic blues
recordings to Dust Bowl photographs, to webcasts from famous authors presented
at the National Book Festival. Over 70 original lesson plans provide ways to
integrate primary sources into the curriculum. The lessons include interactive
activities, timelines and online feature presentations.

contains lesson plans and interactive student activities for seven academic
disciplines.
FreeCmap software- It is a concept-mapping
software. Officials of IHMC claim that this tools encourages thinking and
problem solving.

NASA Multimedia
- Contains a large selection of NASA images, video, podcasts and a lot more.
NOVA Programs
Online - There is a list of most recent programs such as " Monster of the
