Open iPhoto - Click the iPhoto icon in your Dock to open iPhoto application.
Photo Library - all the photos are displayed in the photo viewing area
Toolbar - at the bottom of the iPhoto window
Import photos
From web
Go to google.com or AP Photo (http://ap.accuweather.com/) or Pics4Learning.com
and
search the topic you want. Make sure you you search for large images. Once
you find
the picture complete the following steps:
Click image - select full-size image
Click on the picture and hold down the mouse or Control Key and click pic.
Select - Download Image to Disk or Save Picture As...
Save - Where - Select Pictures (folder)
To place the photo in the iPhoto
File-Import - click on the photo.
From camera
Plug in camera and turn camera on-iPhoto opens
Click import button in the toolbar
From CD
Insert CD with photos
Go to File - Import
Find CD and click on the photos you want to import
Hold down the Shift key to select more than one photo at a time
To see the full size view of the photo - double click the photo
To view thumbnails click Organize in the Toolbar
Organize
Create New Album
Go to File - New Album or click the + sign
Name the Album
Select the photos you want to place in the New Album
To select the photos -Click the photos holding down the Shift Key
Hold and Drag photos into your New Album
Open New Album - Double click
Organize by going to View - Arrange Photos by - date, title, or manually (just
click and
drag). You may also rate your photos.*****
Name your picture - select an image (where it says Title ) type a name
Edit photos - Duplicate the photo first (in case you make a mistake and give
it a new
name)
Select Photo - Edit
Brightness
Contrast
Enhance
Zoom In
Crop - First select the area you want to keep - Click the crop button
Make Story Book
Select the album you want to use to create the book
Click Book
Select Theme
Cover Page
Preview
Play Slideshow
Click SlideShow to pick music...etc
Click > arrow next to the + sign (it will play with the last music that was
selected)

Create a Quicktime video
Share a photo
Order prints on line
Create a homepage with the photos
Create screen saver
Create CD
