Internet Policy

 

    INTERNET AND COMPUTER USE

Computers are a valuable tool for education and one of this school's 
purposes is to encourage the proper use of computer related technology 
including the internet.  Students and all users of computer technology have 
a responsibility to use these tools properly.  All students and parents are 
required to sign the Computer Technology Contract for Bishop McDevitt High 
School.  Violations of these rules will be dealt with by the administration 
of Bishop McDevitt High School.

PURPOSE
Technology is a valuable educational vehicle.  Our schools are committed to 
teach its students, faculty, administrators, staff, and school community to 
work and learn effectively with technology and to ensure the responsible use 
of technology.   The policy outlined below applies to all technology use 
including, but not limited to Internet use.  The Acceptable Use Policy for 
Technology applies to all students, faculty, administrators, staff, 
volunteers, or community members allowed access to school technology 
resources.
