My name is Brianna Whalen. I graduated from Indiana Univeristy of
Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education and a
concentration in Mathematics. I started at BTC last year and I'm very
excited to be returning for a second year as the 3rd-6th grade Mathematics
Teacher! Math has always been a passion of mine and this year I hope to
inspire that same passion in my students.

I want to provide my students with an atmosphere of learning and caring. I
understand the value of instilling the morals and beliefs of the Catholic
Faith at a young age and incorporating them into everything we do. As a
school community we will demonstrate the true meaning of our mission
statement on a daily basis. My goal for the year is to instill in my
students a love of Mathematics and assist them to acquire the skills that
they need in order to become lifelong learners.
