Hello!!!!! My name is Mrs. Allison Denny. This is my third year
teaching
grade 3 here at BVM, previously I was the Pre-K teacher. I have enjoyed
being here at BVM and look forward to many more years.
I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Temple
University in 2005. I am currently studying for my Masters in Educational
Leadership and Special Education at Neumann University and will graduate in
2012. I have been working in the education field since 2002-2003. I taught
Pre-K for 6-7 years before moving to third grade at the beginning of 2010-
2011
school year.
My husband and I have been married for almost 5 years. I am a mommy of a
nine month old and a 5 year old dog named Liberty. I enjoy going out to
dinner,
going to the movies, traveling, attending plays at the Walnut Street Theatre
and
skiing in my free time.
My philosophy for the classroom is to create a loving, caring, and a positive
atmosphere where the children will learn, feel safe, and like coming to
school
everyday. In the class this year the children will learn how to be
responsible,
respectful, and helpful. They will continue to develop their love for God,
themselves, and others.
