Mrs. Brown has a B.A. in Communications from the University of Pittsburgh at
Bradford. She worked as a reporter and radio News Director before returning
to UPB and St. Bonaventure for Literature and Teaching Certification. She is
now enrolled in Wilkes University's 21st Century Teaching and Learning
graduate program (Graduate December 2009!).
Mrs. Brown grew up in Bradford, but she has lived in New York, Buffalo, and
(most recently), Fremont, California.
Personal: Husband - Scott, Daughters - Olivia and Elaine. Relatives - many
loved ones near and far!

Dislikes: Unstable structures, serial numbers, bureaucracy, web filters,
injustice, prejudice, discrimination, infestations, shallowness, duplicity,
fish served whole, credit cards, zealousness, blind followers, controlling
behavior, black ice, retaliation, bias, manipulation, kidney stones, status
seeking, heat waves, fungus, glass houses, stone throwers, "poor me & lucky
you", dirty dishes, stalkers, selfishness, the smell of a city, impaired
judgment, dirty bathrooms,
long lines, and more fish served whole!
Students will improve benchmark skills in reading and writing. An engaging
curriculum and meaningful feedback will result in increased motivation for
students to meet our goals.
