Here's what we're currently doing in English class as of 11/25/09:

7th Grade:

We have just wrapped up our study of the life and works of Edgar Allan Poe and had a lot of fun doing the unit! After the Thanksgiving break, we will be working on commas and then will begin a unit on Charles Dickens and "A Christmas Carol."

8th Grade:

After the Thanksgiving break, we will be reading, discussion, and doing various activities in conjunction with the story "Flowers for Algernon." We will also be reviewing proper comma usage and doing a creative comma project.
