Brandywine Heights High School

2007-2008 Choraliers

Mrs. Rebecca Rhodes, Director

The Brandywine Heights High School Choraliers is a group of 12 vocalists whose members are chosen by audition from the students enrolled in the Brandywine Heights High School Concert Choir.  The ensemble is dedicated to the performance of literature, mostly a cappella, from a variety of historical periods and musical genres.    Participation in the group is extra-curricular, rehearsing twice per week after school.

The Choraliers performs throughout Berks and Lehigh counties for many types of community, school, and church functions.  The ensemble performed at the "Hall of Presidents" in Walt Disney world in Spring, 2003, and at Epcot in Walt Disney World in 2005.   In May, 2004 the ensemble traveled to Washington D.C. with the Marching Band, Vocal Jazz, and Midnight Riders represent the state of Pennsylvania at the 2004 National Festival of the States Dedication of  the World War II Memorial, where they performed on the steps of the Jefferson Memorial.  The Choraliers was honored to perform at Carnegie Hall on Sunday, April 2, 2006.
