Volunteer Information

According to the BCMCS Charter, each family is required to perform 3 hours of volunteer time each month.
 
HOW DO YOU VOLUNTEER?
  1. Our 2010-2011 membership drive is underway. Check off what you are interested in volunteering for on the membership sign up fom, now available on the Forms and Flyers Page.
  2. Contact a program or event coordinator and offer to help
  3. Watch this space for weekly updates.
  4. Have an idea or suggestion on what you can do for the school that's not already being done? Contact a PTA officer and offer your services

School Beautification  Decorate the outside of the school and the lobby with seasonal decorations (fall harvest, winter, spring). We have many decorations that can be used. This is something that can be done on weekdays or weekends, time just needs to be coordinated with a PTA officer. SUBMITTING MONTHLY VOLUNTEER HOURS 

Keep track of the hours you spend each month either volunteering at school or working from home on one of the events or fundraisers. Once a month we will e-mail all PTA members a submission form for your hours. Families that submit volunteer hours by the 12th of each month are entered into a drawing for a BCMCS t-shirt or a $10 gift card of your choice.
