Hello First Steps Parents, I have no idea where October went, but it was a
fun month watching the kids get used to all the textures while doing craft
and transitioning from activitiy to activity The kids have come a long way
since the middle of September....we are so proud! Tomorrow, we will work on
a color collage, working with the colors orange, yellow, red and browns.
This will be a simple glue exercise where the possibilities are endless! We
will turn their creations into a work of art that will become part of a
larger project, which will be completed before Thanksgiving break. These
pieces, done each week, will hang in the classroom on our bulletin board for
us to enjoy before the final project is complete.

Work with the your kids at home by singing this song to them, as this will
make them feel comfortable during circle time. We will also have the kids
participate in a color matching game, repeating the same colors we worked
with during craft. We will also read a book on the celebration of fall.
Snack will be provided tomorrow, but I will post the snack schedules tomorrow
for the months of November and December. Have a great night and we will see
