Dear Parents:
Last week we talked about the Native Americans and Pilgrims. The children
worked on booklets and made Thanksgiving table mats and Native American
headress. Friday they made fruit salad. Thanks to Mrs. Walters for bringing
in some fruit and for the delicious pumpkin cake, "yum, yum." (home made)
This week the children will be working on their Thanksgiving vests and learn
about turkeys. We have activities and crafts planned on this theme. We will
also be learning specific Christmas music that we will be singing for our
Christmas program in December. I will be sending you the words to these songs
so that you can work with your child. A couple of the songs may be a little
difficult. We aren't worried because we know the children are quick learners!!
Keep your children healthy and have them come to school everyday. There's
just so much going on, now that the holidays are about here!
