Dear Parents:
Are you ready to start back? We are! Our vacation was great but now its time
to start back to school. Mrs. Ault and I have been in the classroom and have
prepared for the upcoming week. There are a few changes in our room that Mrs.
Ault thought of. The play kitchen has been changed, temporarily, into an art
area. The children can be free to cut, paste, color, paint, make something,
by themselves using their own creativity.
This week we will talk about the differences between migration and
hibernation. They will learn by separating pictures of animals into those
that hibernate and those that migrate. Talking about winter leads us to count
snowballs, cotton balls, and practice writing numbers. We will also work on
our alphabet, capitals and lower case. The children also need to learn their
left from their right. This will be a busy week filled with fun and learning.
Please contact me if there are any questions or concerns. Thank you!
Blessings,
Mrs. Heiss and Mrs. Ault
