Updates:
I know I sound like a broken record, but the children are doing great!!!
Besides a few tears here and there, they have learned the rules of the
classroom, they play well with each other and in general they are eager to
learn and try new things. It sure makes my job much easier!! There have
been a lot of papers going home lately. Please make sure you are checking
backpacks. This is also a great opportunity for you to ask your child about
their day at school. Ask them what they had for snack or how they made the
craft. Not only is this a special time with you but it helps your child with
conversational talking and building their vocabulary. Here's to a great week!
Crafts:
This week's theme: It's all about turkeys. We will be making a turkey book
and we will be painting turkeys at the easel.
Circle Time
We will be reading Five Silly Turkeys and One Little, Two Little, Three
Little Pilgrims. We will be jumping over mud puddles and playing
hopscotch. We will also continue to learn the November fingerplay.
Reminders:
Disguise the turkey is due this week.
Veteran's Day is Wednesday: Thank a Veteran.
