Mrs. Taylor's 3's

December Newsletter

The holiday season is quickly coming upon us, too quickly sometimes. We are
happy to report that our Thanksgiving Feast was a success. We enjoyed a
peaceful meal together with all of the trimmings. We talked about the many
things that we are thankful for. We were glad to see a range of things on
our list, including family, pets, fun things, and class jobs! We hope your
time with family and friends was pleasant as well.

Our Christmas Tea will be held on Thursday, December 17th at 10:30 AM. The
children’s presentation will be in our room (#7), with refreshments to follow
in the Library. A sign-up sheet is located in the hallway outside of our
classroom. Please note the quantities as families will be attending the
event.

The children are getting very excited about the coming weeks. We will be
busy with many holiday preparations. Shhhh, some of them are secret. Santa
will be visiting our class during the week of December 15th. Please take a
moment to prepare your child for this event if they are at all stressed about
the big man himself. We will be learning new songs and games, and
incorporating holiday traditions into our crafts and themes. We will talk
about the importance of giving to others, and our story time will include
books about the baby Jesus and Hanukkah.

Having your children in our class has been a joy. The growth that we have
seen in just these few months is incredible. Thank you for the gift of time
spent with these wonderful kids. We hope that your holiday season is full of
happiness and the spirit of the season!

Happy Holidays!
