Mrs. Colbert's 4's

WEEKLY LETTER
December 8 - 9 - 10, 2009
Your little elves have been hard at work. They have made some cute Christmas
tree decorations and an angel for our back bulletin board. Be certain to
peek in on that and compliment them on their art.

Because these elves are so good at listening to directions and cooperating
your “take-homes” are coming along very nicely. Work will continue all this
week.

Be certain to put the Christmas Tea Program on your calendar because the
songs are sounding better and better.

          DECEMBER 17TH

          10:30 AM

          Fellowship Hall

Next week, as a lesson in doing good for someone else, we are going to do
Christmas Cards for some residents at Manor Care. It is important that you
have this information so you know what they are talking about.

I also thought it would be a lesson in caring for others to collect non-
perishable items for the food bank. Ideally, your pre-schooler should be
with you and help pick out the food so they begin to understand that some
people do not have enough food. Of course starting Tuesday December 15th,
when you bring these items in, we will COUNT and SORT them. It is, after
all, still school.
