Mission/Goals/Programs

The Preschool serves the needs of the community by offering children
experiences that are adapted to their developmental needs. Every experience
is meaningful to the young child with their great capacity for wonder, their
inexhaustible energy, their perpetual curiosity, and their readiness to
learn.

The Preschool is a supplement to, not a substitute for, the home. It
provides an environment planned and equipped especially for the young child,
under personnel trained to promote the child’s best development.

The purpose of the Preschool is to provide opportunities to enlarge their
sphere of relationships, their knowledge of the world, and their ability to
express themselves – all in a secure environment under the guidance of
committed Christian leaders.

OUR GOALS

1.	To foster individuality and independence by nurturing feelings of
self-esteem, security, and uniqueness in a loving and caring atmosphere.
2.	To encourage sensitivity to others (children and adults) by the
development of social skills through play and classroom experiences.
3.	To cultivate an awareness of the child’s environment and his or her
surroundings.
4.	To facilitate “readiness” learning through fun and creative
experiences.
5.	To enhance fine and gross motor skill development.
6.	To nurture the development of the “whole” child.
