Task

For this project, you will be formatting an escape plan from the mountain
cabin in Louis Duncan's book Ransom. This project will be completed in four
different parts. This project requires a lot of time and effort and will
count for two test grades.

Your task is to assume the identity of one of the students whom were
kidnapped by Juan, Rita, and Buck. You can choose to be either: Jesse
French, Marianne Paget, Glenn Kirtland, Bruce Kirtland, or Dexter Barton.

After assuming your character's identity you will be creating a floor map of
the cabin. By now you should have a mental map in your head of how the cabin
is laid out. Use your mental map and your book to gather details about the
cabin and the surrounding area.

Along with the floor map of the cabin you need to create a key to go along
with your map. A key must be used on your map to list the location of 10
important items in the story. Each item in the key will be noted with a
symbol that will be used on the map at the location of the item.

You will be writing an escape plan from your character’s point of view. A
written, detailed description of your escape plan must match with your map.
You will plan the escape according to your character in the story. This
person will plan the escape according to his/her own personality.

Finally, upon the completion of this project we will be presenting your
creation to the class.
