Process

"A Great Escape" Ransom Project Process:

Day 1:  Explanation of the project, questioning, and brainstorming

MAP:
Day 2:  Work on the rough draft of the map.  Keep in mind: neatness/colorful, 
accuracy of drawing, and cabin areas are labeled and spelled correctly.  If 
time allows in class, I suggest that you have approval from either Ms. Faust 
or Mr. Sigafoos.  (If you would like to take a look at an example floor plan 
click on webquest links icon on the homepage.)

Day 3:  Working on the final copy of the map.

Day 4:  Free working session.

KEY:
Day 5:  Work on the key for the map, don't forget to use the rough copy of 
the map.  This way if any mistakes are made they are not permenent. (If you 
would like to see examples of keys made from other students check out the 
link which is under webquest links icon on the homepage.)

Day 6:  Work on the final copy of the key for the map.

PLAN:
Day 7:  Work on the rough draft for the written escape plan.  If time allows 
have either teachers read over your draft before going onto the good copy.

Day 8:  Type the final copy of the written escape plan.   Don't forget to 
draw the escape route onto the final copy of your map.  Please keep in mind 
for the presentation and grading purposes I will be collecting your rough 
drafts of the map, key, and written escape plan.

PRESENTATION:
Day 9:  1/2 the class will present their projects

Day 10:  The other 1/2 of the class will present their projects
