Homework Policy

Students should complete homework that is assigned, and if the homework is not

the homework is late. If a student wishes to use a homework pass in
place of the homework, they may use their pass. The student
must put their name on the pass and what it is taking in place of for ex. pg.
13 questions for Ch 1. You may receive three passes within
a grading period.
-
Homework will be assigned approximately 2-3 times a week
-
I will be making a phone call home if not turning in your homework is an issue.
Lab Experiments
-
Labs will be conducted once a week
-
The experiments will take place on Wednesdays
-
Remember Science is hands on and is fun; I would like to do more hands on
activities throughout the year!
-
If students are not mature enough to complete and participate during the
experiments the result will be less time in the lab and more bookwork. You
need to show me that you are 8th graders! Also, that you are
responsible enough to participate and complete a lab. If
you’re not responsible, your lab privileges will be taken away!
