Getting to Know Mr. Hamilton

Welcome to my web page and thank you for visiting! My name is Mr. Jason
Hamilton and I am excited to be teaching in the Parkland School District.

Prior to this position I had the opportunity to student teach fifth grade at
Schnecksville Elementary School, work as the Teacher of The Gifted at
Cetronia, and the Response to Instruction and Intervention Teacher at Jaindl
and Fogelsville Elementary Schools. I am very honored to work in the
Parkland School District and consider every day a gift that brings with it
something new and exciting!

I received my Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Edinboro University
in 2001 and a Post-Baccalaureate degree in Elementary Education from Drexel
University. Through my educational experiences I have come to appreciate the
importance of lifelong learning and hope to instill that value in all of my
students. In my spare time I enjoy watching and playing all types of sports
and am an avid Phillies and St.Louis Rams fan. I love to read National
Geographic and Sports Illustrated magazines. I also enjoy spending quality
time with my wife, Carrie (who is a third grade teacher at Parkway Manor),
our four year old daughter, Isabella, and the newest addition to
our family, our one year old son, Connor! To round out
our family, we also have a miniature dachshund, Bailey.

I consider it a great privilege and responsibility to be your child’s
teacher and look forward to working with a new batch of students this year!

TOGETHER EVERYONE ACHIEVES MORE!
