Dear Fifth Graders and Families: As you all know my husband, Nick, and I welcomed our first son into our world. Rowan Elias Micio was born on December 11th! Our family is doing well. Since Rowan came much earlier than expected, I will not be returning to teach 5th grade. It was a great pleasure working with all of my students and their families for the first part of this school year. I am honored to have had the opportunity to facilitate rich learning experiences to help my students start their last year of elementary school! I will miss all of my students and will visit with little Rowan in the springtime! Because of the nature of my exit, the fifth grade team stepped in to help keep our class running smoothly.
