Welcome
We are a Communication and Technology Magnet school located in Reading, Pennsylvania. We are very excited to provide this opportunity to the 6th grade students of the Reading School District.
Our school currently has a 1:2 computing ratio. That's 1 computer to every two students!! Our students have used technology to correspond and conduct culture studies with other students in Japan, Italy, Denmark, Canada, and beyond, create multimedia presentations that would rival some in Corporate America, and use technology to become proactive in their community and in our school.
Our goal is to elevate each child and provide him or her with a focus on his or her future.

Message from the Principal
It is very exciting as we prepare for our 2007-2008 school year. We have decided to implement an interdisciplinary, thematic curriculum this year. Our themes will include all content areas and all learning will be related. Our themes this year include: The World Around Us: Global Awareness, A Night at the Museum, From Pod to Blog: Communication Technologies, Inventions and our Future, and Rec and Roll (short for recreation and rollercoasters).
