Dear Parents,
It is important that the children understand that homework is part of their
daily work for school. It is part of their grade. Please help them with
their assignments.
Second Grade--This is a very special year for these children as they will be
receiving their First Reconcilation and First Communion.
Please begin to help your child memorize the Act of Contrition. I will be
hearing each child individually recite the Act of Contritition beigining in
October.
The children will be receiving their First Reconciliation on Monday,
December 21st.
I am sending the Good News magazine home with your child. There are
activities for Advent in the magazine. Please discuss these with your child
and send the magazine back to school in their Religion folder. We will be
discussing these actiivities in the Religion class.
Please check the front of their Religon Book for their homework this week.
