Math: Math Box 5.5 and Study Link 5.5 -Practice Multiplication Facts 0-5 (These facts should be secure by mid-December) See web sites for extra practice on Math Review. We learned a new game to practice place value today. There are a few sites in the Math Review section to practice place value.
Science- Learned about amphibians (p.101) See science notes Test next week (see notes) Science Project- due December 7th. Here are a few sites the kids can look at while deciding on an animal.

More information about the science project: The children brought home two papers on Friday. One paper gave the specifications for the project (what information will be needed on the final project), and the other illustrated where information and photos should be placed on the project paper. That paper is NOT the paper the final project will go on. It is just to show the layout. The paper the project will go on will be given out on Monday. This weekend, the children should start to gather the information. They may want to begin to write the information in their own words. Information must be written in complete sentences, with correct spelling, capitalization, and endmarks. On the final project neatness will count. The project will count as a Science test grade.
