In this activity, the class was
assigned to write an
advertisement for their own
greenhouse. They were to use
all of their vocabulary words
from their story "Flytraps!"

The students created a
summary strip poster for the
story "Allie's Basketball Dream".

The students are getting up in
front of the class more and
more. Here is one activity I had
them do. They were to go up in
front of the class and present a
How To Speech. This particular
speech was on "How to Change
a Baby's Diaper".

The class had some fourth
grade helpers from Ms.
Cooper's Class come over to
help them write scary stories.

The groups were assigned to
create a poem with their group
that described their alien. Then
they were to read in unison to
the class.

They loved this activity. The
students finished reading an
informative story on icebergs.
They were to create their own
nature program like it would be
on TV (like the Nature Channel).
They were to focus it on the
things they learned about
icebergs. In this picture it

Icebergs.
