Homework reinforces skills taught in school and teaches
responsibility. It is an integral part of the learning process. Your child
records all assignments in his/her planner and takes all necessary papers
from his/her mailbox. Each evening after your child completes the homework
the planner must be signed by a parent/caregiver. The building is locked at
4:00 P.M. Books are available at the Back Mountain Library, if necessary.
Five or more missed assignments in any marking period will result in a
check (for needs improvement) next to homework on the report card.
