I have been part of the Dallas School District Family since 1994. I've
taught third grade, fourth grade, kindergarten, and am now happily
teaching first grade! I am a graduate of Wilkes University and hold my
Bachelor's Degrees in Psychology and Elementary Education I also have
obtained my Master's Degree in Classroom Technology from Wilkes University.
When I'm not in school, my husband Erik and I enjoy doing lots of things with
the family. Kayley, 13, Joey, 11,and Larissa, 3, keep the days
packed! We love to do just about anything and we very much love the
outdoors. Girl Scouts, dance classes, CCD, baseball practices, hockey
lessons, cheerleading, and many more activities keep us on the go and make us
really enjoy the quiet days at home playing Uno and swinging on the swing!
It is my hope to create a love of learning in each child I meet. I enjoy
helping each boy and girl in my class reach their personal best
academically, socially and emotionally. We're going to sing through the
year, smile lots, and securely reach the goals set both by the school and
those at home.
