Day 1: Introduce weekly skill, build background for story, and introduce vocabulary words. Day 2: Read story, continue working on skill, and complete comprehension questions. Day 3: Go over comprehension questions and brainstorm/prewrite OEQ (Open Ended Question). Day 4: Comprehension/Vocabulary/Skill test, Revise/Edit/Publish OEQ Day 5: OEQ due, skill practice, and read with first grade book buddies
