After graduating from Kutztown University, I taught fifth grade for two 
years in Petersburg, Virginia.  After which, I decided to return home to work 
on my master's degree.  During this time I also substituted at Dallas and was 
a tutor for the afterschool math program. My first full year at Dallas, I 
taught fourth grade at Wycallis Elementary and I continued working with the 
afterschool math program.  The following year, I moved to fifth grade at 
Dallas Elementary and that is where I have remained ever since.  This year 
will be my eighth year teaching fifth grade at Dallas Elementary.  I am very 
excited to start the new school year and meet the new fifth graders!

While at home, I enjoy spending time with my husband and one year old 
son, Kevin Jr.  My guinea pig Guinners and two hamsters (Hannibal & Bella)
complete our home. I enjoy traveling and have most recently been to Peter 
Island, one of the British Virgin Islands!  I also enjoy shopping, riding on 
my wave runner, snow skiing, and curling up with a good book.
